Our Shipyard...

'Het Anker' has more than 80 years experience with small scale ship building and general ship repair aimed at both the professional and amateur skipper. With the accumulated experience of three generations of family ownership we can offer our clients extensive services that include:

Repairs to internal and external steel work
Propeller shaft and rudder repairs
Replacing and doubling hull plating
Shortening and lengthening the ship
Installation and repair of bow thrusters
Restoration activities, including riveting
Ship conversion

Facilities
We have a dock, a slipway and a crane that will be made available to meet your needs. In addition to our workshops, a canteen, washroom and toilet facilities are available. The yard is easily reached from all the major waterways in Holland and we can offer the use of temporary mooring facilities, when needed.

Many foreign clients that use our services are interested in barge conversion and restoration. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss these needs in more detail, at your convenience.
